I have always strived to maintain a style that honors the philosophy of the great photographers of the twentieth century, such as Alfred Eisenstadt, Mary Ellen Mark,
Vivian Maier, or Andre Kertesz. They were all masters of capturing what they saw, as they saw it.
I love working with existing light. I like to discover the environment and then let everything happen on it's own. I allow my subjects to find their own moments, and then I capture them. It can be a shy child clinging to their parent, a nervous couple, or an adult who hates having their photo taken (I can relate). I allow for an environment in which everyone feels great and comfortable being themselves.
There is beauty in everything and in every moment.
